What can follow this card?
A basic matching checker and a wild-eight suit demonstration.
Read the model first
The checker follows Bicycle’s basic matching rule. There are no skip, reverse, draw penalties or stacking effects. It compares one distinct candidate with the current top card.
Supply the state
When the top card is an eight, select its declared suit. When the candidate is an eight, choose the suit it would declare. The explanation describes the matching result and the next matching condition, not a strategic recommendation.
Try the suit demo
Change the declared suit below the checker to see a small sample change. This is an illustration, not an evolving hand or a full game. All selections reset on reload.
Find the matching reason.
Allowed: Q♣ matches the clubs suit of 5♣.
Single-deck example: top and candidate must differ. No penalty, stacking or full-turn state is evaluated.
Printed hearts. Declared spades.
The top card stays 8♥. Change its declaration and inspect these sample candidates.
Spades are active. A spade or another eight may follow.
This fixed sample is a demonstration, not a dealt hand. An eight candidate would declare a new suit of its own.
